At Chocoluma, we personally hand-deliver our freshly made desserts to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Since our products are perishable, we do not use third-party shipping services. Instead, we coordinate directly with our customers to schedule delivery. Below is our policy for delivering your orders.

1. Delivery Areas

We currently offer hand delivery to customers located in Gwinnett County, GA, and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether your location is within our delivery area, please contact us at contact@chocoluma.com or (404) 445-4640 before placing your order.

2. Scheduling Delivery

When you place an order with Chocoluma, we will arrange a mutually agreed-upon delivery date and time window based on your event details and our availability. We strive to accommodate your preferred delivery time, but availability may vary, especially during peak periods or holidays.

3. Delivery Fees

A delivery fee may apply depending on the distance from our base in Gwinnett County. Any applicable delivery fees will be clearly communicated during the ordering process.

4. Delivery Process
  • Hand Delivery: All of our desserts are hand-delivered by a member of the Chocoluma team to ensure they arrive fresh and in perfect condition.

  • Delivery Timeframe: We will provide a specific delivery window and contact you before delivery to confirm any last-minute details.

  • Safe Delivery: We require someone to be present at the delivery location to receive the order, especially if the event is outdoors or the desserts will be exposed to heat. If no one is available at the time of delivery, we may not be able to leave the order unattended, and additional delivery arrangements may need to be made, which could result in extra charges.

5. Late Delivery

While we strive to deliver your desserts on time, unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, weather conditions) may cause delays. If we anticipate a significant delay, we will notify you as soon as possible. In rare cases of late delivery that severely impacts your event, you may be eligible for a partial refund, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Order Changes and Cancellations
  • Order Changes: If you need to modify your delivery details (e.g., address or time), please contact us at least 6 hours before the agreed-upon delivery time. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but they cannot always be guaranteed.
